What is Upneeq®?

Upneeq® is a prescription eye drop medication used to treat acquired blepharoptosis (a condition where the upper eyelid droops) in adults. It works by stimulating certain muscles in the eyelid to lift the upper eyelid, improving the appearance of drooping eyelids.

How does Upneeq® work?

Upneeq® contains oxymetazoline, a type of drug known as an alpha-adrenergic agonist. It works by activating receptors in the muscles that control the eyelids, causing them to contract and lift the upper eyelid. This can help open up the eyes, making them appear more awake and alert.

How do I use Upneeq®?

Typically, you’ll use one drop in each affected eye once a day or as needed, usually in the morning.
